Since 1995, The Golden Gate Philharmonic has achieved a solid record of achievement in both musical excellence and outreach, with a focus on developing high standards of musicianship for the serious student.

We emphasize an integrated program of chamber music, theory and sectional coaching by fine young professionals. The orchestra presently numbers 112 students from 44 schools with musicians ranging in age from kindergarten through college.

We invite kids of all ages to join us to make this local treasure an essential part of our community, reflecting in its composition the exciting mixture of races, ethnic and socio-economic groups found in the Bay Area.
